Privacy Policy
Effective July 23, 2026 · OVER REACT — The Daily Contraption (browser extension)
TL;DR — your game data never leaves your device, we run no analytics and no trackers, and the only network call the game ever makes is verifying a Supporter purchase with Stripe.
What we store, and where
- Game progress (levels, stars, streaks, scores, cosmetics, replays) is stored in your browser's local storage on your device. It is never uploaded anywhere.
- No accounts. The game has no sign-up, no login, and no server-side profile of you.
- No analytics, no ads, no trackers. The extension contains zero third-party analytics or advertising code.
Payments (Supporter upgrade)
- Payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- When you redeem a Supporter Code, the game sends our license server two things: the code itself and a random device identifier (a meaningless random string generated by your browser). This is used only to confirm the purchase with Stripe and to enforce the 5-device activation limit.
- Our server stores only: the code and a count of device identifiers that have used it. No names, emails, or personal data.
- Your purchase receipt and email live with Stripe, under their privacy policy.
Permissions the extension asks for
- storage — to save your progress on your device.
- nexlov.com — solely so the game can contact our license server when you redeem or restore a Supporter purchase. No other network requests are made.
Children
The game is suitable for general audiences and collects no personal information from anyone, children included.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the effective date above changes with it, and material changes will be noted on this page.
